Step-by-Step Car Key Guides
Car keys can look simple from the outside. However, opening a remote key without knowing how it comes apart can quickly result in damaged clips, buttons or internal components.
That’s why we’ve started creating practical video guides.
Instead of relying solely on written instructions, you can watch the process from start to finish and see exactly how each key comes apart.

Replacing a Damaged Car Key Housing
A damaged outer case doesn’t always mean that you need an entirely new car key.
On many remote keys, the electronics and transponder inside the key still work perfectly. The outer housing, buttons or flip mechanism may simply have become worn or damaged.
In these situations, a replacement car key housing can provide a cost-effective solution.
Our YouTube guides show how the original components can be carefully removed and transferred into a compatible replacement housing.

Snapped flip key blades are another problem we regularly see.

The original electronics, battery and transponder can be transferred into the replacement case when compatible. The new blade will need cutting to match the original key.
