Which Transit key fits my van?
Find your model and year in the guide above. Transit, Transit Custom, Connect and Courier all use different keys, and Ford changed the chip in 2016. Compare your key with the photos, or send us a photo and we'll confirm the right one before you order.
Does the new key need programming?
Yes. Every remote has to be programmed to your van by an experienced auto locksmith, and the blade needs cutting to your locks. Main dealers won't program aftermarket keys, so go to an auto locksmith. We supply the keys and parts only. We don't programme keys.
My key still works but the case is broken. What do I need?
Just the case. Move your existing circuit board, chip and battery into a new case and keep using your key. Look for the "Just need the case?" link on each key type above.
What's the difference between the 4D63 and ID47/49 keys?
They're the immobiliser chips inside the key. Ford used the 4D63 chip up to 2016 and the ID47/49 (Hitag Pro) chip from 2016 onwards. The keys look almost the same, so go by your van's year, or ask an auto locksmith to read the chip.
